Sumi Masen...
Konnichiwa, please call me Walshy :) I'm pretty much just as I sound. I'm a huge nerd who loves anime and video games. Anime has been a huge part of my life just like how sports is a big part of other's lives. It is my passion and I love to share my passions just as others like to share theirs. You might be thinking that anime is for kids, or is weird. I have heard almost everything bad I could hear about my passion so I ask nicely for you to respect my hobbies. On my blog I will express my love for anime through posts on how they have inspired the world, the form of art, and explain in depth about my favorite anime's. I'll add in my favorite inspirational quotes to give you a sense of how beautiful most anime can be. Anime that I will post are beautiful and that if you gave a shot at watching I bet you'd like them. Most of them have life lessons and teach something valuable, while others not so much... Either way anime is wonderful to me, just as your hobbies are to you.

First, I can already hear your voice from this first post, which is wonderful. While I do not know much about anime, I am a pretty big comic book fan (I know they are VERY different) but I have heard many of the same comments about them. You express a clear understanding for the way in which different art forms have the ability to reach and teach different people and that is an exciting prospect. Think a little more about how your topic of anime might interact with other aspects of our world - cultural evolution, youth culture in Japan, and even the film franchises that have come out of it. Looking forward to reading more on this topic!
