Since I am a nerdy blog let me start off with how excited I am for this seasons new anime!! These are the few fall anime I am most excited for!! Please take a few minutes out of your time to check out each teaser video and read up on each one.
From what I have seen it is beautifully animated and filled with a deep story. It is about ice skating and the main character Yuri Katsuki who is an ice skater struggling from his recent loss in the competition. After his loss he contemplates giving up on ice skating but when he meets his idle and all time champion his life seems to change.
My all time favorite anime is about volleyball, how rare it is that I am even interested in a sport. This is the third season in the series and it contains the whole match between Karasuno VS Shiratorizawa in just 10 episodes. I am super hyped and this promotional video just makes me more excited. If you haven't checked out Season One or Season Two I advise you watch those before watching the third season. Hinata the main protagonist and his team go through struggles as a team and against opposing teams. It is filled with companionship and achieving goals as a team.
It appears to be quite cute. It is slice of life, Drama, Seinen, and Game. The main character Rei who has had a very troubling life turns 17 and escapes to live alone. He is a professional Shogi player and that is the only way he gets income. At this time in his life he is struggling to balance many things such as school, money, and family. He soon meets another family willing to help him and they treat him as their own. It is filled with Rei's triumphs, failures, relationships, and his growth as a person.
This is the movie based on the anime Orange which is a beautifully emotional roller coaster ride. In this movie it is shown from Suwa's eyes who is one of the main characters. The main story is about Naho who receives a letter from her future self warning her of the future. With knowing what's in the letter the new student named Kakeru arrives but Naho does not believe the letter at first. Has to save Kakeru because ten years in the future he is no longer alive. I recommend watching the anime before watching this movie based on Suwa's perspective and struggles through the first season. It is a very inspiring, beautiful, and emotional anime I very much recommend, the manga was better though.
There are dozens of other seasonal anime that are airing this fall. You can check them out here along with checking out the manga of Orange. It is much more wonderful than the anime. The manga of Haikyuu!! is just as suspense filled as the seasons. I read them both and I recommend you checking them out.
